FAQ

How old does my child have to be to attend Foundations Preschool?

Children must be at least 2 3/4 years old, potty-trained, and able to dress him/herself.

What are your weekly rates?

Weekly rates are based on household income and number of people living in the home. Call us and we will be happy to go over the sliding scale with you!

Is Foundations Preschool open year-round? What about weekends and holidays?

Yes, Foundations Preschool is open year-round. We provide childcare Monday-Friday between the hours of 7am and 6pm. We are not open weekends or most major holidays (Christmas-New Years Day, Thanksgiving, Independence Day, etc.). We are closed for one week in August for teacher training.

Does Foundations Preschool accept FIA or other third party payments?

Foundations Preschool provides “in-house” scholarships and does not accept FIA payments. Other scholarships may be available such as: Childcare Network Scholarships and scholarships through such sources as the Carl Perkins Scholarship Fund. Please contact the center if you have a voucher/scholarship from another source.

Is a sibling discount available?

Because every child who attends Foundations Preschool automatically receives a scholarship, we do not offer a sibling discount.
